How to Install Windows Update

Regular updates keep your VAIO laptop running smoothly, improve security, and fix performance issues. This article explains how to update both Windows and VAIO-specific drivers.

Update Windows

1. Click the Start Menu → select Settings ⚙️.

2. Choose Update & Security.

3. Click Windows Update in the left sidebar.

4. Select Check for updates.

5. If updates are available, click Download and install.

6. Restart your laptop when prompted to complete the update.

   Tip: Enable Automatic Updates in Windows Update settings so you don’t miss important fixes.
